2016 42-35
2015 44-28
2014 27-20
2013 28-25
2012 27-15
2011 28-21

So far this decade, four of the six games have been determined by 7 points or less.
Must of meant something to the 30,000+fans that filled the Glass Bowl to watch the rivalry game last season.

I think that it has lost a little of the luster since the two were split into different divisions in the MAC. It is still certainly a rivalry game but is not as critical since it has less weight as a championship factor.

When played on a Saturday earlier in the year it would attract more interest. Wednesday night at 8:00 pm in November, not so much.

That trophy blows. Black Swamp Trophy would make more sense. Unique to the region and not thousands of miles long

I think it would help the rivalry if they both played each other in a MAC title game.

I agree. I personally think the MAC should move Toledo to the EAST Division and move Miami OH to the West (pretty sure, geographically speaking, Miami is further west than Toledo) and it solves the imbalance of power problem between the EAST and WEST and gets the Toledo/BG rivlary back to the importance it is should be every year.

I think mostly it has lost its luster, because it is played in the middle of the week in November, and BG is a horrid program that would lose to Bowling Green High. A couple of years ago, the MAC got crazy and scheduled it early in the season on a Saturday, and it was well attended.

They desperately need a new trophy for this rivalry. It's small and bland. Who decided to replace the old Peace Pipe Trophy (which was really cool) and replace it with that???
