Is Gus Ragland the most valuable player in the MAC? - george14 - 11-08-2017 11:49 AM

He obviously won't win POTY or anything due to injury but this guy literally turns Miami from possibly the worst MAC team into one of the best. Since the start of last year:

With Ragland:
9-5 with losses to Notre Dame, Marshall, Cincinnati, Miss State, and the other was to BGSU and they were leading when he got injured.

Without Ragland:
1-7 with their lone with against Buffalo.

Didn't hurt that Akron's starting QB was suspended prior to the game.

I'm not talking about last night solely, but as a whole. Ragland is a huge difference maker at Miami.

Actually the difference maker for Miami is Bahl. Just in the wrong direction. He looks the part but one out of every three throws he has just make you cringe.

Nope, Oakville Ontario native Nathan Rourke.

And the UB win was against a 3rd string- true freshman QB who was forced into action.

Hard to say because we have only seen Ohio with Rourke really. Miami is night and day with Ragland vs. without.
