That's awesome. Also love those rocking chairs.

Hoping the next light rail expansion is a leg to the airport. Would help reduce the traffic and parking situation out there.

Charlotte is the only urban center in NC I haven't explored (been to asheville, piedmont triangle, raleigh-durham, wilmington/emerald coast) but have been stuck at their airport for hours and hours multiple times and lightrail taking me downtown would be awesome, wouldn't even care if I missed my connection.

She probably got stuck going through customs in the Charlotte airport. When I went through it was the biggest pain I have ever had. Took 2+ hours and nearly missed my connecting flight as I ran up to the gate with 5 minutes left in the boarding process. Have been through customs in numerous airports and that was by far the worst I have experienced.

I've heard that a lot. With the growth the city is experiencing, there should be more emphasis on making city car-centric.

They've done a great job over the past 10 years but there is still room for improvement. The light rail coming out to the University is a game changer for that area.

Tequilaria's has some pretty good food... Charlotte-Douglas's problem is that they need to add another runway or something. It's so congested.

I prefer flying out of Concord NC when possible. Only 10 minutes from UNCC

clt says 4th parallel runway is coming, and will have the length for CLT to Asia flights.

#10 busiest airport in the nation https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_busiest_airports_in_the_United_States

4th parallel runway will replace the diagonal runway. Technology apparently makes an east/west runway unnecessary in this day and age.

Prime example why I refuse to fly. Seriously stuck in an airport overnight? That will NEVER happen in my lifetime.

Other than from landing and baggage claim wait time Charlotte has one of the best airports in the nation. Very walkable concourse, minimal wait times for check in and security, and good options for food and bev. Parking options are effiecient as well.

clt says CLTis 7th busiest in the world based on aircraft movements. The passenger number is lower due to the regional flights with CRJ’s and such.

Crosswind runway no longer needed. Works well for zeps, tho.

I haven't been through CHARLOTTE. I usually drive Atlanta to charlotte isn't a bad drive.

The Raleigh Durham airport is a nice one tho.

As much as people complain about Atlantas airport I find it to be one of the better airports.

I haven't waited in line more than 30 minutes. Most of my waits are in the 10-15 range(granted precheck).

If I couldn’t get a flight, I’d rent a car and drive before I’d sit in an airport overnight.
