Well at least they don't have a recent history of ncaa infractions.

Addidas and Louisville are about as intertwined as any school/apparel company out there. IIRC they just gave them a new deal paying them an outrageous sum of money (Ohio State/Bama/Texas money). My first thought was they had to be involved.

I am sure Ricky P. will blame it all on the assistant who went rogue. He was totally unaware of the situation. Afterwards ESPN will increase the ACC's media rights by 50% yet again and Pitino will get a contract extension plus a raise.

Meanwhile UC will be stuck in the AAC and the media rights will move up from $2M/year to $2.25M/year.

Don't count out the fact that the FBI is leading this investigation. Not the NCAA.

People will roll over and start naming names and details to avoid long jail sentences. This isn't the NCAA's fantasy-land anymore; welcome to real life, bozos.

This just made my day.

The NCAA refused to do anything for so long, the FBI had to step in. That's golden.

Hopefully once the Adidas gravy train runs off the tracks, we can really start reeling some talent into our program.

Book Richardson from the Sean Miller years. Richardson followed him to Arizona.

With the inclusion of Arizona and Louisville this early and with direct ties to Adidas upper level leadership, I'd be worried about all of the big Adidas schools at this point. Kansas, Miami Fl, Indiana, former teams like UCLA and Notre Dame, etc. This is a huge investigation, and already linked with a lot of NCAA "untouchables".

RE: Appears some bball coaches are going to get arrested - The T-Shirt - 09-26-2017 10:01 AM

Let's assume for a second that the NCAA has a semblance of a backbone.

So if a school, any school, were already on probation then the penalties should be far harsher than that of a first time offender or a first time in a long time offender, no? I mean the point of probation is basically a continuous warning to not f*ck up again or else it's game over? And with something this egregious, regardless of probation, the punishment would have to be severe anyway. So add this train wreck on to a school that's already on probation and what do you get? The Death Penalty.

BUT this is the NCAA, so that school on probation will turn out fine, but Bellarmine better get ready for colossal punishment.
