Someone give us some insight. Last year I thought they were better than their record showed. They played a real tough schedule. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - ETSUfan1 - 09-25-2017 01:12 PM 1-3, but lost to some pretty good teams. I'll be making the trip across the mountain. A lot of us should make the effort to be there. We don't have many excuses for missing wofford furman or WCU away games with them all being one and a half hours away. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - brock20 - 09-25-2017 08:24 PM Won’t make this one but hoping to get to Western. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - ETSUfan1 - 09-26-2017 12:14 PM Furman 13.5 point favs. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - Bucc18 - 09-26-2017 01:48 PM Hoping we can pull off the upset; if so, it would be our 1st Socon away game win since September 28th, 2002. (Western Carolina) Wish I could be there, but it will be nice to be able to watch it on TV. Go Bucs !!! RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - bucdad - 09-26-2017 02:10 PM Me and my 5 will make the 3.5 hr trip over there. Coach sounded favorable in his press conference and radio show last night, the players seem confident, so I say we roll out of there with another SoCon win. Go Bucs......... RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - bucfan81 - 09-26-2017 04:26 PM Go Bucs! Let's keep the momentum going! RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - ETSUfan1 - 09-27-2017 09:16 PM Game is a whiteout, so the Bucs will be wearing blue jerseys. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - bucdad - 09-28-2017 07:48 AM Not a lot of chatter on here this week..... hopefully that's a "quiet confidence"... RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - GoBucsGo - 09-28-2017 05:37 PM I think the Bucs can win it. Defense should be solid. Offense has to consistently move the ball so the D doesn't get worn out. It would certainly be a nice win. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - ETSUfan1 - 09-28-2017 07:54 PM I fully expect us to stop the run and have a chance to win if we can move the ball. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - MTBuc - 09-28-2017 08:37 PM I'm hoping that O'Cain will let Austin be free to run a little. That really seemed to spread Mercer's defense out and open up the passing game. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - shampoo - 09-28-2017 10:00 PM A win would be great momentum. Get it done, blue & gold. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - brock20 - 09-29-2017 07:35 AM A win at Furman would be a huge step for this team. Will be tough. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - Buc76 - 09-29-2017 10:21 AM Triple option first. If the Bucs stop that, Go to spread option. Passed us dizzy last year. RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - Buc'ed_Up - 09-29-2017 12:29 PM Glad we have some experience against the triple option, which is what The Citadel runs. I thought we handled it pretty well RE: Official Game Thread: Furman - prosec34 - 09-29-2017 01:11 PM I agree that Austin needs to tuck and run a good bit. Our offense clicks much better when the defense has to account for that. |
