SEC Week Four - Gamecock - 09-18-2017 08:37 AM

My tear ducts have finally dried out so I suppose I'll start a thread for this week.

A&M @ Arkansas - A&M I guess? 28-14
UMass @ Tennessee - 56-6 UT
Alabama @ Vandy - 21-14 Alabama, Vandy is really good y'all
La Teach @ SC - 21-20 La Tech because I don't deserve happiness
Miss St @ UGA - Miss St is really good too, 31-16 Miss St
Syracuse @ LSU - LSU 35-20
Auburn @ Missouri - Auburn is meh but Missouri is bad. 30-10
Florida @ Kentucky - 24-20 Kentucky because it'll make me feel better

RE: SEC Week Four - BePcr07 - 09-18-2017 09:33 AM

Texas A&M vs. Arkansas - Arkansas by more than 2 touchdowns.
Massachusetts @ Tennessee - Tennessee by a lot.
Alabama @ Vanderbilt - Alabama by 10-14 points.
Louisiana Tech @ South Carolina - South Carolina by 10 points.
Mississippi St @ Georgia - Georgia by less than a touchdown.
Syracuse @ LSU - LSU by more than 3 touchdowns.
Auburn @ Missouri - Auburn by less than a touchdown.
Florida @ Kentucky - Kentucky by less than a touchdown.

RE: SEC Week Four - murrdcu - 09-18-2017 01:37 PM

A&M @ Arkansas - A&M. Arkansas will find a way to lose this game like every year
UMass @ Tennessee - UT
Alabama @ Vandy - Alabama. Tide answer Vandy's "you're next" in typical 'bama fashion
La Teach @ SC - ACC, but Tech could win this
Miss St @ UGA - Miss St. winner becomes second best team in SEC
Syracuse @ LSU - LSU rolls the Orange men
Auburn @ Missouri - Auburn wins by like 50.
Florida @ Kentucky - Florida . U.K. Can't overcome the talent gap.

You've let Xlance get into your head. You called South Carolina "ACC"!

I like Arkansas over A&M by close.
Tennessee over UMass and not close.
Alabama over Vandy by 21.
South Carolina over La Tech but agree it could go either way.
I like Miss State over Georgia by 14 on the road.
I like L.S.U. to massacre Syracuse just because they lost last week.
I guess Auburn over Missouri but the truth is Sean White was kicked out today and I don't think that's going to sit well with the players.
Florida has historically played poorly at Kentucky. Kentucky has more offense and they are both good defensively. I'll go with the Cats in a close one.

RE: SEC Week Four - hawghiggs - 09-18-2017 03:43 PM

A&M will win by 3 touchdowns.

03-drunk dang autocorrect

Why would the Auburn players be mad about White getting kicked off the squad for multiple off the field instances. To be honest I was hoping Gus would have confused which Sean White he kicked off his squad when he released the coaches' official statement: "these actions end a long list of inappropriate actions not reflective of the values and standards of Auburn University. In closing, **** Sean White and **** the X Games too. Gus Bus Out." *droops mike and walks off*

Most of the players liked and trusted Sean White. The rift developed in practice before the season started. It looked as though Gus had promised Stidham the starting job to get him to come. He needed White out of he way. A misdemeanor pot smoking offense in he Summer gave Gus an excuse for a suspension of the first two games. White getting intoxicated at an off campus apartment party did the rest. I don't believe the law was involved in the first matter, but the police department is located directly across the street from the apartment complex where the party was held.

Gus has a long history now of blaming players, finding excuses to do what is expedient for him, and blaming assistants, for Gus's personal failures. He needs to go, and needed to go last year.

UMass @ Tennessee - UT. If Umass wins, Butch walks home to clean out his office.
Alabama @ Vandy - Alabama. Tide answer Vandy's "you're next" in typical 'bama fashion

Florida @ Kentucky - Kentucky. They are hot and Stoops is ready for that signature win over a misfiring Florida.

Changing my UF-UK pick to U.K. They are juiced and ready to play.

Gus pulled similar crap in his High School coaching days too per some of the Northwest Arkansas posters on hogville. The guys that started the hog site I'm on now had some stories about Gus screwing players over and over.

Bet the farm on Arkansas. We are just so terrible this year no words can describe it. We MIGHT get one SEC win this year (my money is on OM) but even that's not a given.

Everyone else will run a train on this team and the leagues most incompetent coaching staff and a QB that can't hit the broad side of a barn at 10 feet.

Noooooooooo 03-hissyfit

You take that back. Arky sucks more than you. We will lose and Bret's seat will catch on fire. We'll make sure Kevin is in College Station for another week. We will win the Pink Slip Bowl.

The circle of suck completes itself. This has to be the worst Start to an SEC season in the televised era.

The both of you are hilariously wrong if you think A&M or Arky have the worst coaching staff in the SEC.

RE: SEC Week Four - 10thMountain - 09-20-2017 12:21 PM

I disagree sir

A pewee coach could have held onto that W against UCLA by using a strategy a pewee team could execute and doing absolutely nothing more than waiting till the 5 second mark on each play and running straight up the middle.

And yet our staff couldn't even come up with that exact brilliant plan

I see A&M inability to chew clock and raise you the Vols failing to play dime on a Hail Mary

RE: SEC Week Four - vandiver49 - 09-22-2017 07:09 AM

So my normal calm has finally been restored after that debacle the Vols put on the swamp.

A&M @ Arkansas - Loser gets fired; A&M
UMass @ Tennessee - UT Big
Alabama @ Vandy - Bama
La Teach @ SC - SCAR bounces back
Miss St @ UGA - Dawgs 27-24
Syracuse @ LSU - Bengals
Auburn @ Missouri - Auburn
Florida @ Kentucky - Wildcats, the Gators have no offense

This will be their best chance in decades. I hope so just to watch the East flip on its head.
