I have said it before. Seen a lot of Godwin and he could use some more time to develop and adjust.

All he said was that he thought, "he may struggle some." I would think if Jeff Jones thinks he can do without him for the season and he could benefit from the time, he would consider redshirting him. He seemed very impressed with what he had seen of Hueitt, though. He did say he had only seen him play a few times. I only had a very short conversation. We would have liked to kept him talking about ODU basketball all night!

If JJ is indeed coaching from the hot seat I can't see him holding back any weapons he thinks could help even a little.

The trick is to open twitter outside of the twitter app (i.e. chrome). That will allow you to open the image in its' own tab and copy the direct image url.

From what I've been told, physically he has made some serious gains. That was the one thing the staff was worried about (his weight). He has physically matured to being pound for pound one of the strongest guys on the team. On the court, I have been told that he could end up being our best player by the end of this year or in 2018. Not scoring...all around best player.
Edit: We'll see if that holds true. The person that told me this has been high on him from day 1.
blewbyu could probably have some input on this thought.

I really love these UA uniforms but man.... I am really not keen on the material that they use to make them. I liked the nike uniforms better in that regard. Anyways, team is looking sharp. Heres to a successful season

Heard this team has really worked hard this offseason. Porter who's been trying to put on muscle, added 15 lbs and drop body fat.
I like the unis, this year. I guess there a lot like last year.

From what I understand, this team especially.
ALL of the "upper classmen" (I don't know how that is defined in basketball anymore) have taken on a big time leadership role.

I believe you, but you can see it in years past as well. Trey Freeman really added strength during his time at ODU. Talley came in scrawny, etc.

When I cheered my workout times were during the same time as the basketball team. When Jeff Jones came, they got a new strength and conditioning coach, but even back then those sessions were intense. I don't remember specific workouts but the energy in there was sky high and I fed off of it to do my workouts. I specifically remember Chris Cooper benching 100lb dumbbells like it was nothing. They also framed this article right by the door leading out of the gym: ODU Basketball Team Does Heavy Lifting at Practice
