If our offense gets any life at all and doesnt turn the ball over... maybe us. I haven't watched a WKU game yet, but it sounds like they are having problems too.

Our defense actually looked better than last year, its our offensive line that has serious timing issues. Hopefully playing someone other than ourselves will get the issues worked out sooner than later..... like this weekend

Bet the house on La Tech and take the 5 points! WKU's offense is horrendous and nothing like the Brohm years. It was just pathetic against Illinois. I just don't see WKU staying within 2 TDs....it was that bad.

This is a very bad Western team. The defense is not as good as some are saying. We have played 2 very bad offensive teams. Brohm would have been up 21 at halftime against this Illinois team.
I believe Sanford is going to be a great recruiter but right now he is in far over his head.
I really didn't like his press conference today. He singled out a player and pretty much blamed him for the loss Saturday. He didn't use those words but that's what he said.
I did like one thing he said about tightening up the wide receiver rotation. He mentioned how good Xavier Lane is going to be but not one reporter asked him why he got no targets after 2 in the first quarter. Lane can be a difference maker in any game we play this year but this staff acts like they want to be friends with the players and keep everyone happy for participation awards.
He's still tryna pound square pegs into round holes with this offense. Meanwhile Holtz has been running the same offense the whole time we've been in CUSA.
We play a very soft bend don't break defense that does not turn people over at all.
He also said he'll be happy winning 17-3 games. I almost choked on that one. This defense will never hold anyone to 3 points. It's an absurd statement to even make. He's very chippy about our past success.

Won't say much about that... we'd probably need to come out of the next two weeks with a 3-1 record to retain crowd size after that last game.

At least one of these two is still a contender. (Possibly both)
I give the edge to LATech. (Still Gotta root for Western though in case we need help in the division )

I haven't seen enough to know if he's in over his head or not but trust you know what you see. What I have seen from him in press conferences and statements he's made is that he is definitely not ready for that part of being a head coach. I've had to do a double take a couple of times and ask did he really just say that?

HA! 2 TDs! We will run the ball all night so that 2 TD prediction may be overstated. If we win by 2 scores it'll be ten!
It is kinda hilarious after three years of high flying football - both teams look lost.
