O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - olderduke - 09-07-2017 06:57 PM

The mere fact that Shitzu has given up 3 points to Prairie Dog U should immediately drop them from any discussion of being a seed come playoff time.

I remember watching replays of some of SHSU's conference games last year prior to the JMU playoff game with them and thinking how overrated they were. Have watched a good deal of this game tonight and my take is: SHSU = OVERATED AGAIN!! If not for a few untimely penalties on PVA&M on big plays (big gain bubble screen called back and a re-punt that went from the ball being at the SHSU 8 yd line to being around the 50 on a shank) it could be 10-10 and not 17-3 at this point.

SHSU up 30 - 17 at halftime. PVA&M scored a TD at the end of the half with a 38 second drive.

30-17 SHSU at this point.

But...what does that say about RU? Do we chalk it up as an away game with a new staff?

If we meet them again, we may hang 80 on them. Their defense is awful....butt-f'ing awful. I don't care where we play them

Richmond has a decent offense but defense needs a lot of work. Briscoe County has thrown one int. and almost threw another one. And like olderduke said, SHSU's defense is still suspect (bad)

Despite shooting themselves in the foot a few more times, PVA&M just scored making it 30-24

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - formerjmusprinter84 - 09-07-2017 08:51 PM

PVA&M just gave up a 98 yd KO return for a TD 37-24

PVAMU was the 3rd place Swac team last year. SHSU has allowed them to score 24 points in meaningful time.
That 98 yard kick return was some bush league **** though. They have some terrible tacklers.

There QB is awful.

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - olderduke - 09-07-2017 09:02 PM

^Would you feel like PVA&M could play with JMU?

They are so one dimensional it isn't funny. The QB cant complete a pass over 5 yards.

I would say they would be lucky to have 100 yards of total offense.

O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - Potomac - 09-07-2017 09:10 PM

The PVAMU fans keep oohing and ahhhing "OH BOY HE'S WIDE OPEN!" they forget that their QB keeps over throwing by 10+ yards.

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - formerjmusprinter84 - 09-07-2017 09:17 PM

44-24

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - formerjmusprinter84 - 09-07-2017 09:20 PM

85 yd kickoff return by PVA&M to the 15. I hope JMU gets SHSU in the playoffs again.

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - formerjmusprinter84 - 09-07-2017 09:21 PM

15 yd TD run PVA&M 44-31 10:42 left....it ain't over

O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - Potomac - 09-07-2017 09:23 PM

How terrible does ur look right now? This isn't even a good team they're playing.

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - DRDukes - 09-07-2017 09:24 PM

how did the ticks not crush these guys? I get the new coach, first game, etc, but damn. most HS football teams could run and score on this SHSU defense.

RE: O/T Soft Houston vs Prairie Dog - formerjmusprinter84 - 09-07-2017 09:25 PM
