How does that happen if he signed with us. We would have had to release him from his Letter of Intent, Correct? if so why?

He was apparently not academically eligible. He is redshirting this year at Nebraska-Omaha. He is from Omaha. He could live at home, if he is not eligible for a scholarship this season. I am disappointed we didn't get him to LR. But I think Wes has brought in some good players and taken recruiting up a notch. I guess we'll find out in the next few months.

Bound to, with all the new faces. I am optimistic about our freshmen big men.

Saw some size and athletic looking kids in the UALR cafeteria this morning. We'll see how that translates to the basketball court.

I think we have some talent this year, but much of it is young talent, and you never know with them. A lot may depend on how good this new point guard is.

While I never saw him play, I felt really confident that Watkins would be able to step in and be a solid point guard in the Sun Belt. Now that spot is a question mark.

Lottie is a 3-star, and Reedus is listed as a point by Verbal Commits and was a juco All-American, so we'll hope for the best.

One of the coaches reiterated to me, tonight, that Reedus is a shooting guard. Looks like that starting point guard will be a freshman.

Another coach told me we were "lucky" to get Lottie. He was waiting for an offer from his hometown state school, Colorado, which never came. I was also told that he is a good kid, which apparently is not always the case with players that are available late.

I thought Reedus' stats did not look like point guard stats. I think it is fairly common in juco just to put one of your best scorers who is a good ball handler at point, even though he is not truly a point guard.
