Speaking of marketing - EagleFWB - 08-11-2017 11:08 AM

What the hell is up with all of these blurred graphics they're using on the tickets and pics on the internet, etc.? It looks like something you're supposed to have 3D glasses to see. Did somebody decide this this was a good look or something? Looks like crap to me.

Coaches said we were going to be fast this year. I guess we're so fast, it's just a blur.

last minute eminent domain pressure washing outta do the trick....

those goof balls have no clue what they're doing....

why try to hype it.....hell, it'll be a miracle if the sewer system hasn't destroyed most accessible arteries after the 30mm gals of rain we've had this year....

parking should be plentiful ~1 mi. from the stadium....wear your crocks and bring a kayak....

Southerrn Miss Athletics partners with The Hattiesburg Zoo for the "Win one for Cinta!" Football Campaign Against the University of Kentucky Wildcats on September 2

HATTIESBURG (May 8, 2017) — Cinta, one of the Hattiesburg Zoo’s five-year-old Sumatran twin tigers, passed away on May 7 from a sudden illness. The University of Southern Mississippi Athletic Department, in partnership with the Hattiesburg Zoo, has launched the, Win one for Cinta!" campaign for the home football season opener against The University of Kentucky Wildcats on September 2, at 2PM CT. Proceeds from the contest will help provide food for Cinta's brother, Kuasa, who has not shown any current signs of illness and is in good health.  For every 5,000 seats sold, USM will provide a variety of meats, and a special diet designed to meet Kuasa's needs called the "carnivore diet" with carcasses, and large long bones to provide him good chewing and tearing activity. The more seats we sell, the longer Kuasa gets to avoid starvation. "The zoo team of animal keepers have developed a deep bond with these tigers, and we know the community has too,” Manager of Hattiesburg Zoo, said. "We hope people attend the game against those Wildcats from Kentucky so we can keep our last remaining tiger alive and kicking." As an added incentive, if Southern Miss reaches 25,000 in attendance for the home opener, The USM School of Dietetics will donate one large boar and three live monkeys to Kuasa's zoo pen as future prey.

For additional information, call the Hattiesburg Zoo at 601.545.4576 or visit the Zoo online at HattiesburgZoo.com or on Facebook. The Hattiesburg Zoo is a Hattiesburg Convention Commission Facility, in partnership with the City of Hattiesburg and the Hattiesburg Tourism Commission. Since 1991, the Hattiesburg Convention Commission has been developing and operating tourism-related facilities for the Hattiesburg area.
