South fans... - BeagleUSM - 08-10-2017 09:34 AM

Making my first trip Ladd-Peebles for the Oklahoma State game. Couple questions:

1) I have GA tickets. These are in the endzone, correct? I'm assuming I have my choice of sitting in either the north or south endzone.

2) What's the deal with parking? I understand there's a shuttle that runs from the Bel Air mall. How often does this run and how much does it cost?

3) What's the crowd supposed to be like for this game? I know you guys had 38k for State in 2014. Thinking 32-33k since it's a Friday nighter which might hurt a little.

Thanks. Have always enjoyed my time in Mobile.

1) Correct. GA tickets are first come seating in either end zone.

2) Season parking inside the gates of Ladd-Peebles Stadium is reserved for season ticket holders. Parking passes are NOT sold on a single game basis with the exception of limited ADA parking places that are sold on a first come, first serve basis through GATE A only.

Parking gates open each home game day at 8:00 AM and spaces are first come, first serve to those with season parking passes.

Stadium entry gates open two (2) hours prior to kickoff.

SHUTTLE INFORMATION (From last season)
• Round-trip shuttles will run from the Shoppes at Bel Air — located behind J.C. Penney's.
• Shuttles will provide continuous service until 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game
• Cost is $2.50 per person; children five years old and younger can ride for free

3) Regarding crowd, taking into account it is a Friday night your guess is as good as anyones. I would estimate 25k range but who knows.

***Also, note there is a clear bag policy implemented at Ladd this season.

There will be a guy offering his yard for parking. I can't remember the charge, but he'll sell you a hot dog for $1.

He also sells hubcaps for $3 each....and spare tires for $5 (with the rim)! Just ask him 'what models are being featured this week?'.

Most of the time the shuttles can get you there and back in good time with no hassles, and save you a few bucks in parking. Generally I like the service, but the MSU game a couple of years ago was a nightmare. The lines were long and the rides were few; and it was hot. They eventually got more buses rolling but it took them a while. I wouldn't expect the same expect experience with OSU unless they didn't learn the first time.

If you decide to drive to the stadium, you'll find plenty of people letting you park in their yards for 10-20 dollars, depending on the crowd.

As far as I know nothing has been moved. Investigations still ongoing.

From what I remember, the front yard parking isn't very expensive. Actually kind of convenient. Everyone else spends a lot of time commuting from the mall. I just pay ten bucks (and divide it up with my friends) and park right across the street. And because the stadium itself doesn't have much parking, its not that much of a delay getting on your way at the end of the game.
