A $15M, 5 story building with 60 apartments and a ground floor restaurant is coming to the corner of 5th Ave S and 20th St S. There's currently a building there with a Pizza Hut that'll be demolished. This will be across the street from UAB's new proton therapy center.
With this, the two 17 story apartment towers in 5 points, Children's Hospital's planned project in Parkside, and all of UAB's construction Southside will look a lot different in 2-4 years.
