Well, when the best thing we can give them crap for is their gym, it's not like we are winning. Or do we need to post the tweet again about how many wins we've had in the last 5 years to make ourselves feel better about our situation? Just kind of sad, really.

Well we could just spend all of the last 8-10 weeks loading up twitter timelines while rallying every bit of support we can for a non-sanctioned basketball alumni tournament for players that are not playing in the NBA. We could even sponsor an alumni band like they do--lol.
Or we could take the much more boring route of doing what most FULL athletic departments are doing right now--talking about the excitement of another college football season about to start. Seriously, my VCU envy is so much less than it was a few years back. And I even like what we've recruited in hoops the past two classes over what they are getting. I'm just glad we have something more substantial to root for over the next few months while they gush over basketball players that left VCU many years ago.

It’s a hopeless situation - let’s declare defeat. Or let’s plan on blowing them out of the Ted this year! Caver is going to deliver the w (especially w/Kithcart giving him some rest). We had the lambs last year but ran out of steam down the stretch. That’s not going to be the case this year.

Lol I remember when they interviewed him once back when Vcu was good as their super fan and he actually had the gall to say he didn’t dress like that for attention.

In one on Maynor's seasons they made the NCAAs. I forgot who they lost two but TNT or whomever did a screen capture of Pav and his wife as the loss was complete. He had his unwashed ugly shirt on and the picture of both he and his wife was unflattering. So I remember some board (not the CAAzone) was running that picture and a poster said, "Love is Blind" and that was then quoted by another poster, "And hungry!"

ODU once got a very good player from DeMatha. It was back in the late 70's - Tommy Branch.
It hasn't seemed to have helped ODU any having former player Mike Jones as their coach.
