That’s the biggest glaring need. And I like Kithcart, but still need competition and more ball handling on the roster.

I also meat to say with the other scholly they just need a front court player. A 5 preferably to back up Dickens or compete with him for minutes. I see Kalu and Carver and Reece as 4s.

Here's a name: Jaylin Hunter, PG out of CT. Dad is Kenya Hunter, a UConn assistant

Then why isnt he going to UConn? They could use the help right now if he's good.

They recruit at a much higher level than us. 19th best class according to 247.

It seems UConn is visiting a big we are on.

I get that UConn has a much stronger basketball history than we do, but they are still a G5 team for now. And it wasn't that long ago ODU was bringing in top 40 recruiting classes. Just seems that if the kid was good enough to potentially be our starting PG one day, he would at least be good enough to get a serious look to see if he can contribute at the school his dad is the coach at. But either way, if JJ thinks he has the talent to lead us to a sweet 16, then I hope we get him. Coach knows more than me, thats for sure.

Not all kids want to play for their Dad. Not sure if thats the case here

UConn has more national championships in the last 20 years than anyone, to include, Duke, UNC, and UKY. They may be on the decline, but there is still a lot of prestige there.

2* 6-1" PG. Good handles, lefty, with decent shot but flat. Most say mid major prospect. We shall see. Sounds like he is committed.

Went to Rivals. They have him at 3 stars. Our coaches know what they are doing.

But can he make his free throws?

Most have him as 2*. Offers from us and Fairfield. He had a good fall / winter. They say 6-2 as well. saw comments that that is really generous. I like that he is a lefty.

That tweet says official visit. Doesn’t say anything about him committing... am I missing something?? I do like the sound of this kid though.

Those free throws won a champship for UVA.
And let's not forget the three FT that Kyle Guy calmly swisher to get into the Natty

I like the hype video.

Did he actually put on the jersey, or is that computer generated?

In the top pic he's #1, in the bottom he's#12

Hunter was a transfer from Nebraska to his East Catholic HS team in CT. Apparently he meshed well with his new teammates as he averaged 23 pts., 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 43% from behind the arc. East Catholic went on to win the D1 State Championship.
