Glad Mike Aresco make that clear for us again... The AAC isn't interested in boise state, and probably ever - Good

I mean... Why would we be interested on a cancer school like boise and their uneven revenue sharing thinking ways... No thanks.

Is Navy sharing their half of the Army - Navy game with the AAC? I have yet to see anything stating they are. They sure don't want to be less than Army.

Apples to oranges...... but nice try. Comparing a historical game that is OOC, one that has been around for generations to BSU's lopsided conference media deal is laughable.

Lopsided lol. It's clear you don't know much if anything about the deal ESPN gave bsu to not join the AAC.

I love the part where Aresco said the quality of facilities at Tulsa are vastly improved with the addition of the Gazebo.

You seem to know even less. ESPN didn't give them that deal. If you think real hard (or use Google), I'll bet you can figure out who did. It's the same group that's been trying to undo the deal ever since.

You mean other than the key part of the deal in getting bsu home football rights? You think without the key part of the deal (their words) ESPN would have put down as much $ if anything?

Did you even listen to the Aresco podcast, mate. He clearly addressed Navy. Navy's existing deals were in no way comparable to the proposed special deals that Boise State was trying to pitch the AAC & MWC on. So, you got the MWC to bite... But, in getting the MWC to bite, you ended up in a much less desirable neighborhood. That certainly sucks for you. If I were a San Diego State or Boise State fan, I would probably be on here too - screaming at the top of my lungs. You guys screwed yourselves by trying to get a bigger piece of the pie. You ended up getting a bigger piece of a moon pie.

There are special deals with a lot of conferences. The MWC conference gave Boise a special TV deal for survival reasons, the ACC gave Notre Dame a special football deal to grab them from the Old Big East and kill that conference, Texas has a special deal in the B-12 with the Longhorn network, and Navy was allowed to keep their Army / Navy Game Deal as part of the arrangement to join the AAC as a FB only member. 07-coffee3 04-cheers

Being "allowed to keep" a pre-existing contract is a misnomer. The AAC had no legs to stand on with Navy's ongoing deal. There are no similarities to an actual negotiation between the conference and a member that results in a favored position with that member.
When the Army-Navy deal runs out, then the conference has more say. In the interview, Mr. Aresco addresses that too.
