The championships were just completed and Italy finished 6th.

Italy went 5-2, losing to France in the quarter finals, and then to Hungary in the game for 5th place.

Mariella was a starter the whole tourney and averaged 7 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. In the final game against Hungary, she scored 21 points, including 6-8 from 3 point range.

In other international Rockets news, Sarah St Fort is reportedly playing for team Quebec in the 2017 Francophone Games being held in the Ivory Coast later in July.

More good experience for the Rockets on a big stage.

Hungary's always had trouble guarding the perimeter.
