"While Minnesota will sign about 25 players in next year’s class, Fleck and his staff have extended 220 to 230 offers, according to Kyle Goblirsch, who tracks Minnesota’s recruiting for 247sports.com."

Let's see ... what are your odds of being signed if you have an opportunity to sign with the Goofers? I'd say it's mighty slim. Hope these recruits recognize that.

In the meantime, PJ Goofer is establishing a negative reputation for his recruiting tactics. Other B1G programs are complaining that he has been stealing their recruits. His players may love him, but he's not making friends among the other B1G coaches.

Not sure being "friends" with other members of the Big 10 football coaching fraternity rates very high on the Fleckster's priority list.

I was looking on Rivals at the recruits that Fleck has offered so far, and the list is huge. I think they've offered twice as many players as our staff has. Classic Fleck recruiting tactics. Throw out as many offers as possible and pressure recruits into early commitments.

Pretty consistent with what he was doing at WMU in terms of the number of offers, and not making friends on the trail.

Who? Are you talking about that coach WMU had who lost five straight to CMU and never got the Broncos within a sniff of a MAC Championship?

Nice guy, but glad he's gone (should have been fired sooner). WMU has beaten CMU now three consecutive times and is the defending MAC Champ.

I got 4... Costco still had a bunch of them. Looks like they are moving quicker than the M and MSU chairs. I like that they have the Ghost Bronco and the new "Traditional" logo on them. $35/chair seemed a bit steep, but I am not really an expert on bag chair prices.

Just picked one up! They are bigger than traditional camping chairs. Very comfortable, very nice. Worth every penny. I might go grab another one.

The cashier at Costco said they are selling like hotcakes.

Those chairs are nice! Our true colors.

BTW, check out the Wyoming Cowboys' unis. They do the brown and gold (yellow for them), and look like our jerseys should be.

Also, like it or not, Fleck is a part of our history, and a very successful part of our history. I don't see what's wrong with talking about him. (I'm not sure if I want to cheer for or against him yet. Either way, I just want him to leave Minnesota quickly ---- like how he left us quickly and all his other jobs he's had. Whether that'd due to being hired away by Notre Dame or Auburn, or because he's fired. I just want him to leave a sour taste in Minny's fans like he left ours and NIU's.)
