He was a big kid. Had a couple glimpses with Fedora as a freshman. Barely played in Ellis's year. Got on the field maybe 3 games Monken's first year. Then left. He was big and fairly athletic. Not very fast. Not sure why he couldn't get on the field. Attitude maybe ? Just me speculating.

no, he was here during Monken's first year for sure. I know, bc i finally had enough around mid-season and emailed Monk a not so pleasant and pretty smart-ass email (to which he responded to in surprising detail) and mentioned (among other things) that Briggs was 6'5 and should throw him (and Sullivan) the ball.

Monken is The Man btw.

I also remember something about him having a hamstring issue and not being able to play many plays in a row or something weird like that.
