This should scare the bejeezus out of you. - Machiavelli - 06-13-2017 06:26 AM

But it potentially helped your guy so it will be buried. It's sickening. 39 states!

This should scare Leftists like yourself but you don't care:

Voter Fraud by Illegals
Lack of Voter ID
Voting Machines made by George Soros

It absolutely is scary.

Hopefully those on the liberal side are as truly scared of this, and not just trying to score yet more partisan points against the embarrassingly unqualified, but duly elected, President Trump.

If you are as scared as you should be, perhaps you will reconsider your naïve support of loosening up the requirements for voting -- which is a sacred right and responsibility. Voting should only be in person, on a single day, supported by valid identification. Any absentee voting should be based only upon set reasons for absence, and supported by affidavit.

Enough of the contrived crap about voter suppression. If someone cannot make it to the polls on election day, or get to the registrar's office with a valid, supportable explanation of absence in advance of election day, they are not meeting basic expectations of an informed and responsible voter.

Trump is not "my guy". (I threw away my vote on the pothead Johnson.) But if the election were re-held today, I would most certainly be a Trump voter. He's done little to impress during his time in office. But the over-wrought reaction of progressives has managed to persuade me that the clownish Trump may very well be the unpleasant medicine this nation needs to get us past the ill effects of the past eight years.

Did anyone actually read the poorly written article.

Lmao. Pathetic

RE: This should scare the bejeezus out of you. - Machiavelli - 06-13-2017 07:31 AM

Unfortunately both responses look to deflect from the op. They hacked into darabases. What else will we find out. No one was thinking Trump could win. You know what I am thinking. This just sucks.

RE: This should scare the bejeezus out of you. - Machiavelli - 06-13-2017 07:32 AM

Make that 3 responses. If they were smart enough to hack into 39 states they were smart enough to cover their tracks. They have codes that erase themselves. I just look back on the utter surprise that November was. This just sucks.

Not to mention that it takes substantial liberties with the truth. 39 states have experienced IT events is not the same as 39 states have been hacked by the Russians.

Nowhere in the article does it mention anything about increasing votes for Trump or suppressing votes for Hillary. It mainly talks about voter roll information and the like. Sure, Russians trying to hack anything in our country is a problem, but nothing in the article indicates that a single vote was changed.

Don't nominate such a terrible candidate next time. Then maybe you won't get surprised.

We should go to the purple thumb method.

Actually, Mach if you read the entire article....

Quote:But if the entire database had been deleted, it might not have affected the election according to Menzel. Counties upload records to the state, not the other way around, and no data moves from the database back to the counties, which runs the elections."

So again, there is absolutely ZERO evidence that Trump was helped in any way, shape, or form during this election. Or do you just read the headlines of an article and run with it?

RE: This should scare the bejeezus out of you. - UTSAMarineVet09 - 06-13-2017 08:27 AM

So how many votes did the Russians cast for Trump?

I enjoy starting my day with coffee and Mach's end of the world thread of the day.

Let me see if I get this correct....

you give them enough credit to not get caught on this but you believe they were too dumb to not do that with the DNC and left a calling card a 3rd party could find?

Here's what should scare you even more. If another country can do this and write codes that erase themselves. Think what this country could do with the inside knowledge of how everything works and runs.

I think I'm more afraid of the deep state, to be honest.

Anonymous sources with the Russian angle thrown in with no support at all by the anonymous sources.

Certainly a concern, but my guess is this is fake news.

Do you get concerned about real news? Democrats on tape talking about voter fraud in New York City? Democratic Detroit precincts having more votes than registered voters? 12 Democratic workers indicted in Indiana for fake voter registration? The Obama administration trying to hack the Georgia voter database? Democrats fighting tooth and nail against voter ID laws that would defeat the hackers and many of the frauds?

Bullet. Please show the article from a credible news source showing what you claim. This happens way too often on here. Bloomberg. Credible news source. Way too often the right peddles these half truths. Please show me the article that details what you say.

Thank you

Maybe we should just take all voting offline, like it is here in Virginia. You fill in a bubble, it goes into a scanner, and the precinct captain hand delivers the final report. Preventing a cyber attack on voting machines is the one thing that might actually be easier than preventing a pregnancy.

They've all been posted before, but to put them in this thread, here's Indiana:
