Chris Cornell - Motown Bronco - 05-18-2017 05:23 AM

Died in Detroit last night in his hotel room after a concert. Couple reports suspect suicide.

Eddie Vedder is the last remaining 'big name' of that grunge era.

My co-worker attended the Soundgarden concert at the MGM not knowing that was the last Soundgarden concert probably ever. Sad to lose such a talented young man. Superunknown is one of the best hard rock albums ever. Ranks right up there with Led Zepplin IV, Machine Head, Back in Black etc.

To be fair though, despite Cantrell being the biggest name from AiC, Layne was the voice of them

This news was devastating. I had the opportunity to see him three times - twice solo and once with Soundgarden. He was incredible.
