Ray Lawry makes the list....should he be higher, lower, just right?

Probably about right I guess.

How long has Nick Chubb from UGA been in college? Is it me or has he been there since like 2010?

I would rank him higher on talent, but he has battled injury problems almost every season. The NFL will not look favorably on him for that reason. He will need to have a good, healthy year this season to be drafted.

The only other back on the list that I am reasonably familiar with is Ito Smith, and I don't see RL being seven spots behind him. So -- either Smith is too low, or Lawry is too high. I could see those two being something like 10 and 11, and not necessarily in the order they are now in. The trouble in evaluating RL for this kind of list is his size. He is just not the prototypically sized back, but he uses what he has better than most, and when all is said and done, he gains a ton of yards. Speed is life!

Lawry is actually right around average size for a RB in college, maybe a hair light for NFL, but nothing that a good offseason couldn't change. He's bigger than Ito Smith. I think injuries are the one factor that keep him from being higher. His overall numbers would be insane if he had been healthy in each of the last 3 years.

I think (hope?) we are going to have a pretty good O-line this year and that might help him a lot on the injury front. I also think our running attack is going to be really fun to watch this Fall.

I also think we have enough horses that we don't need to run RL into the ground by the 5th game.

Considering RB should be our deepest position, I would hope we don't. We need him if we are going to win CUSA.
