Based on a couple articles I just read, this could be a very good get. I simply cannot figure out why he didn't land with one of the multiple offers he had last year. Articles say he is a very good student, good character, and obviously good skills....just took his time because he was unsure. Heck patience could be another good trait..perhaps he wanted to stay near home until he figured it out, or he waited too long and teams closed the doors. ???

Don't look know but John Groce is putting together a BigTen caliber recruiting class at Akron. Look up Akron verbal commits and you'll see 3 and 4 star players. In basketball the stars generally are right.

Some day and hopefully in my lifetime, NIU will once again have a coach like Tom Jorgensen or John Groce.
