I hope I don't offend anyone, but I would be pretty bummed out if we hired Corrigan. We need fresh blood. We need to take a risk and stop playing it safe. The women's team is a blank slate, there's no need to play safe now.

And yet many of our fans were "excited for next year".

Sometimes you just have to shake your head.

What parallel universe are you in? I've only seen 1 or 2 people who thought this team could be any good after losing Jennie. Most on this board were welcoming this.

It's his schtick. It got old several years ago. PERIOD!

I am right there with you. When I saw Corrigan's name in Ed Miller's article, I threw up a little in my mouth. He's a good dude, but it's time to make a change and invigorate this program. My thought - it's time for Jim to move on.

Nope, not going to be Corrigan although his years of faithful service may find him a soft landing spot somewhere else at good old ODU.

They should offer him a job with ODAF. He's a great guy to have a beer with and talk hoops or sports in general.

I agree and that idea sounds good to me. 04-cheers

Agreed, I hope he stays with ODU once his coaching is done, he seems like a good guy

I think the list in the pilot is pretty good. Im most intrigued by the assistant at SC that Wood knows. Would love to see Donovan too.

If they're really in no hurry to fill the post because of the things Wood told Miller, then it'd be smart to open it up and see who applies. If they feel some sense of urgency then the woman at South Carolina would be my first call to judge her interest -- and her health. I believe she is a breast cancer survivor.
