Assistants are always an unknown. Give the man a chance even if he is a "hole". Let him put together a staff, a season at the helm and a full recruiting class before we start trashing the guy.

McGrath was the #1 player in Kansas when he graduated high school. He walked on, earned a scholarship and has been by the side of Williams ever since. I'm willing to give the longest standing assistant to a hall of fame coach a chance.
No, he wasn't my first choice. Too bad for me I never aspired to be an AD or Chancellor so I had the authority to make those kind of decisions.

I don't like it, i don;t like it at all. I don't care where he came from. He was #3 in that group and it wasn't even close.
