Moderator Election - georgia_tech_swagger - 03-20-2017 05:32 PM So, things seem to be going well here now. So let's elect a moderator for the WAC board. The rules: - You may not nominate yourself - I get veto privs in case you try to get all Vermin Supreme up in here - To be considered, somebody who is nominated must post saying they accept the nomination Usually a consensus builds around one or two people and a final election isn't even necessary. But if one is I'll post a second thread on that when the time comes. I'll start us off by nominating CrimsonPhantom. RE: Moderator Election - CrimsonPhantom - 03-20-2017 05:40 PM I accept the nomination. RE: Moderator Election - gleadley - 03-20-2017 05:54 PM Third... Crimson. RE: Moderator Election - CountDooku - 03-20-2017 06:26 PM Fourth for Crimson RE: Moderator Election - dancingNMSUaggie - 03-20-2017 06:37 PM CrimsonPhantom RE: Moderator Election - Fishbob12 - 03-20-2017 07:48 PM CP RE: Moderator Election - SDHornet - 03-20-2017 08:00 PM One of the GCU guys just to stick it to the NMSU guys....ok fine, CP gets my vote. RE: Moderator Election - SoCalBobcat78 - 03-20-2017 08:50 PM I will formally nominate Crimson Phantom (since he can't nominate himself) and he has my vote as well. RE: Moderator Election - SeattleVandals - 03-20-2017 09:19 PM CP!! RE: Moderator Election - RunnerBall - 03-20-2017 09:46 PM Crimson was the driving force behind the decision to immigrate here, and then become naturalized citizens with a fully active board. He has my support.....until he ever sanctions me that is! [WINKING FACE] Currently mobile....but not necessarily upwardly. RE: Moderator Election - Lopes87 - 03-20-2017 09:59 PM CP works. RE: Moderator Election - 72Tiger - 03-20-2017 10:24 PM Joshadam84 from Chicago St seems like a level headed, good fan. I nominate him. RE: Moderator Election - RunnerBall - 03-20-2017 10:47 PM GTS...just curious....ever begun a moderator (or board) and it was instant disaster from the get-go? Currently mobile....but not necessarily upwardly. If we need multiple moderators and he's up for it, I'd definitely back Joshadam84 as well. RE: Moderator Election - SDHornet - 03-20-2017 10:56 PM So CP clearly takes the popular vote...but can he take the more meaningful electoral votes? Somewhere in a basement in the Valley of the Sun there is a GCU contingent finagling a block of voters to sway the election...or perhaps it's a bit further from here...a bit further east...and a bit more red... Maybe Coach & dancing are the Frank & Claire Underwood of the WAC board. Power couple plotting a hostile takeover in the shadows. :) RE: Moderator Election - IWokeUpLikeThis - 03-21-2017 12:30 AM RoosHouse DavidSt RE: Moderator Election - RunnerBall - 03-21-2017 12:33 AM (03-20-2017 10:56 PM)SDHornet Wrote: So CP clearly takes the popular vote...but can he take the more meaningful electoral votes? |
