Moderator Election - georgia_tech_swagger - 03-20-2017 05:32 PM

So, things seem to be going well here now. So let's elect a moderator for the WAC board.

The rules:

- You may not nominate yourself
- I get veto privs in case you try to get all Vermin Supreme up in here
- To be considered, somebody who is nominated must post saying they accept the nomination

Usually a consensus builds around one or two people and a final election isn't even necessary. But if one is I'll post a second thread on that when the time comes.

I'll start us off by nominating CrimsonPhantom.

I accept the nomination.

CP

RE: Moderator Election - SDHornet - 03-20-2017 08:00 PM

One of the GCU guys just to stick it to the NMSU guys....ok fine, CP gets my vote.

I will formally nominate Crimson Phantom (since he can't nominate himself) and he has my vote as well.

CP!!

RE: Moderator Election - RunnerBall - 03-20-2017 09:46 PM

Crimson was the driving force behind the decision to immigrate here, and then become naturalized citizens with a fully active board. He has my support.....until he ever sanctions me that is! [WINKING FACE]

Currently mobile....but not necessarily upwardly.

CP works.

Joshadam84 from Chicago St seems like a level headed, good fan. I nominate him.

Lol! I can tell that you are overwhelmingly all-in in supporting CP.

Currently mobile....but not necessarily upwardly.

GTS...just curious....ever begun a moderator (or board) and it was instant disaster from the get-go?

Currently mobile....but not necessarily upwardly.

If we need multiple moderators and he's up for it, I'd definitely back Joshadam84 as well.

So CP clearly takes the popular vote...but can he take the more meaningful electoral votes?

Somewhere in a basement in the Valley of the Sun there is a GCU contingent finagling a block of voters to sway the election...or perhaps it's a bit further from here...a bit further east...and a bit more red...

Maybe Coach & dancing are the Frank & Claire Underwood of the WAC board. Power couple plotting a hostile takeover in the shadows. :)
