free market will sort out their policy. In that neighborhood, it may be good for them.

I'll defend Fit here a bit. I don't recall him calling for the head of florist or bakers. There's another. But they haven't commented here.

Fit's issue is that he asked why conservatives werent taking up for the bar, while he himself had not called out the bar.

Conservatives have continually said that businesses have a right to serve whomever they want, in each of these threads that come up. Fit is very silent when its a libturd establishment that does this.

He's been very disingenuous on this topic that's for certain. Where's Lazy Tom on this?

The only reason why I didn't say it here initially is because I have said it so many times that I thought my position was abundantly clear.

I will say it again. Anyone who is in the business to serve the public should be required to serve everyone.

I have always had that position and have always been consistent on that position. '

I said it when cops were refused service, I said it when gays were refused service, and I'm saying it now.

What say you?

I say you are wrong about businesses.

I also say you should look in the mirror and call yourself out first before calling out others.

You are however making a false allegation that I called you out. Please reference the post where I in fact did that.

I wasn't calling you out. I was simply asking a question. Why don't conservatives who repeatedly say that businesses have rights suddenly have a problem when a business refused to serve someone who appears to support conservatives?

Can you answer the question?

We have said businesses have a right to serve whoever they want FAR MORE than you have ever made your point on this matter.

In this situation, a bar did something that many conservatives agree they should be able to do. There's nothing to call out here for us. We believe they have a right to do it.

The bar did something that YOU think is wrong, yet you did not call them out for it.

I wonder though, what does the actual owner think of some hipster doofus server walking by a paying customer?

Depends on where the actual owner sits within the political spectrum and how much he/she/ze/it/freak values money in comparison to ideology.

Here we go again:

Guy in Trump hat wanders into NYC Bar that's probably notorious for being liberal, gets denied service and sprints straight to the news vans.

He's no better than the gay couple who walks into the Christian Bakery and does the same thing. It's all about the 15 minutes of fame.

In fairness to the bar, they are really cheap-ass stupid looking hats. 03-rotfl

I'll defend them... They have *every* right to do this and the government should not for a split second get involved in how a small, non-essential, service runs their business.

I can't wait until you're ready to do the same for 75 year old grandma's who's flower business is destroyed by the state gaystapo.

This is so totally wrong in every possible way.

You're okay with a business hanging up a white's only sign?

They should be allowed to hire only non-Christians? Should they be allowed to not have fire exits or alarms or fire detectors? Should they be allowed to pay people under the table or pay them slave wages?

So it's against the hipster's religion to serve an open Conservative male?

Force the bar to pay him about $200K and shut the bar down, and THEN you can say he is not better than the gay couple.

No, I'm not ok with it. That does not mean I think the government should kick in the doors and drag away the owners. I'll happily picket the place with you Tom, happily.

Quote:They should be allowed to hire only non-Christians?

Yes... And a black owned business that want's to only emply black youth should be able to go that way. If they are non essential and are a small company then it's not really my place to boss them around.

Quote:Should they be allowed to not have fire exits or alarms or fire detectors?

Quote: Should they be allowed to pay people under the table or pay them slave wages?

Fun fact... Some businesses are exempt from the FLSA based on their size.

Quote:The FLSA applies only to employers whose annual sales total $500,000 or more or who are engaged in interstate commerce.

The idea of giving some exemptions to small businesses is well established in US law.

No, he's probably FOS.

Notorious liberal bar?

He's publicizing it. So far, not suing.
