If you are going to play a 2 seed, it could be worse. They are supremely talented and well coached obviously, but are also young and inconsistent. Also have a tendency to start slow. If Troy can keep it close at halftime, who knows what can happen in 2nd half when nerves set in.

Go Trojans, hate Duke with a passion growing up in this state. I hope you guys can pull it off.

Good news is there will be a lot of UNC and South Carolina fans there, and they will all be pulling hard for Troy.

Only upset that has never happened is 16 over 1.

I believe Georgetown was a #2 when Florida Gulf Coast beat them.

I also think (less confidently) Duke was a #2 when Mercer beat them.

EDIT - G-Town was a #2, Duke was a #3.

Been going to the NCAA tourney every year since 1976 and will be in Greenville pulling for Troy. Hoping for a double ACC defeat. Hate that they have gone to the pod system, too many times have had to endure Duke and Tarhick fans. Greenville only site with a #1 and a #2.
