Fast forward to around 5:38. WOW, Nothing but class from Brantley and Chealey(i can't tell which one it was). Continuing from the mess they started at Trask to this. WOW. A #2 means one thing boys, Own it!

It is funny that was uttered after specifically saying it was just another game. Players are so well trained on how to answer the media.

If I had to guess, it was Brantley. Doesn't bother me too much; a little playground talk, but it does go to show that this wasn't just another game. It's nice to have a rivalry starting with them, and it's even nicer to have won 8 of the last 9.

Lol. I get the competition, but need to keep it under control when being interviewed. Should help to keep the rivalry hot. This is replacing the old EZU rivalry quickly....:-)

I'll be honest though, I was equally disappointed in fans from both teams disrupting the national anthem at the end though.
It was a surreal moment for a minute or so there when the whole arena began to sing the anthem together with the musician's excellent work.

That was amazing. As a trumpet player from ages 7 or 8 until I was about 16, I'm very partial to that sound, especially for the anthem. Brilliant job.
To me, one instrument can sound just as good as 50 when playing the Star Spangled Banner.

That is just it. He/They did keep it calm during their interview, including stating it was "just another game". It was only when they moved over to the coach, and they thought their mic was out of ear shot that they made those comments, which were after they were done being interviewed.

To be absolutely fair and objective, I don't think it's that big of a deal either. I've certainly heard worse from athletes. However, with the increased media scrutiny on THAT type of language in professional sports recently it would surprise me if there wasn't some sort of discipline... internal or not.

I had to turn my computer volume all the way up to be able to hear it. So even if its pointed out by anybody they can just claim that's not what he said. So it won't lead to anything.
