Something about that seems ironic.

Must be a glitch, I was able to read it. Here's a tip though to get through pay walled articles:

1. Paste link in google
2. Click on the green arrow and click on cached
3. Once on the article, click text only version
4. No longer waste money to read online articles.

I'd assume if a company chooses not to purchase their suite for FCC it doesn't get counted against the capacity since they aren't putting those back on the market. I'd assume many of those suites aren't used for soccer.

The people in the seats of the Club Seats are a fraction of the people in the Club Area. Many people stay inside and watch TV and socialize. To me it is a big negative in that I miss the energy of being in a crowd in the bowl.

Third paragraph, first sentence.. "UC pays $5,000 a match for use of Nippert." I assume that's a typo and they meant FCC.

Got the tie vs Pitt. Surely Pittsburgians (Pittsburgites?) must tire of seeing gold and black? Kind of boring that every pro team there has to look the same. Even their bridges.

I actually like the uniformity. Makes it easier to dress for any sporting event in town. would be cool if the Bengals and FC were Red and Black instead of Orange

The Bearcat Lair/The Bailey's seats had taken a beating since the last UC homegame. It looked like a few bleachers needed replaced.

thats what happens when the Bailey becomes a tourist location full of people who want to drink and party more than cheer for a team.. i can;t tell you the number of times I have seen people that frankly should have been on their way to the hospital stumble out of there after games, or passed out after games.. the amount of drinks combined with other things by some people who view it as a party only is awful

Soccer hooligans have this effect.

I really don't think that a lot of people who attend are really much into the games. No one seems to care that they've only won 9 of their 26 games. If the Bengals had only 9 wins over a 26 game period, I would imagine the reaction would be a combination of abject apathy and burning Mike Brown in effigy. Yet, at 9-9-8, Berding and Lindner are the toasts of the town.

Just think... UC is making a ton of money off of those people through concessions.

Doubtful. Nobody can afford to get that drunk at conce$$ion prices. I bet they come in plastered and carry in enough to keep the buzz going.

So, who pays to fix the seats?

Ah, yes. Your weak and purely anecdotal conjecture will surely be a suitable counter to a well-formed argument.

I guess I'm just imagining the beer lines at fcc and uc games.
