I believe the Bowling Green massacre refers to the September 3rd, 2016 football game between Bowling Green and Ohio State (Ohio State won 77-10 after spotting Bowling Green a 7-0 lead, had 41 first downs and out-gained the Falcons 776 to 244 yards).
