An update from the Kent Stater. Still not much with the details. I know of a maybe similar non-athletic case from a few years ago in which the guy wouldn't let his girlfriend go home. He eventually pleaded guilty. (That's just speculation.)

He's been suspended from the team indefinitely, according to the article in the Record Courier. Awful timing too - right before the team's game on ESPN2 tonight.

I was planning to watch the game tonight as a way to escape the election. Now I think I'll watch the election to escape this game tonight. Watching us get cleaned in front of 100 people sitting in the rain ain't great TV.

Pretty horrible reporting on all sides here. No information on the particulars of the situation and at least two major networks committed a lethal fact error.

I wouldn't be surprised if the police were sitting on the police report. (They're don't have to release much information on a case that's "under investigation." I know the Stater was trying to get it.

I suppose the pre-game discussion could have been about how Nick has at least given some thrills to the offense that had been totally lacking the past three years - now it will focus on his brother - not to mention the additional burden it puts on the defense that has kept us in games for the past three years

I watched the game for five minutes. If there are 300 announcers doing college football on TV I'm pretty sure we have number 300 doing the game. The good news is we are leading 7-0 and moving the ball.

I don't know. I heard it on a WTAM news broadcast. They are usually accurate.

Seems to be some confusion in the wording of the legal definition of kidnapping. The "or" could lead to this confusion:
Holley, a senior at KSU, was accused of kidnapping after a Nov. 3 incident where he reportedly, "did by force threat or deception or in the case of a victim under the age of 13 or mentally incompetent, by any means, did restrain another of her liberty."
