What is the Plan B if nominee is not electable? - MaddDawgz02 - 08-23-2016 03:46 PM

It is becoming apparent to me that Hillary Clinton just cannot be on the ballot on election day. You cannot have someone on a ballot that should be a prison. That is not a hyperbole she should be in prison for multiple multiple felonies and honestly we probably are only aware of 25% of them at this point. For the interest of the country is there any way Biden can replace her on the ballot? I do not know the logistics of how that would go, but the Democrats have to get someone different on the ballot.

Biden did not campaign, and he was not nominated. I would think Tim Kaine would take over. There really are no federal rules for how a party can choose their nominee. I think the party leaders might go ahead and pick their favorite candidate, but that would leave Democrat primary voters completely out of the process. Just because Col. Sanders came in second does not make him next in line.

You're going to go bonkers when Hillary wins in a landslide.

I am really worried about Nov 8th and 9th. If Clinton becomes President and NIU loses to the Toledo for the first time in so many years the following day I am going to take many many many sedatives.

If that happens, I will leave for Mexico. I really will!

(Okay, so it will only be for a week, but at least I'm telling the truth!)

Don't get me wrong, Trump is not President material but Hillary is worse. While Sec of State, she was more worried about increasing "donations" to the Clinton Foundation. Every day another batch of emails or messages comes out showing how it was a pay for play practice. 55% of the people she met with as SOS were donors to the Clinton Foundation. She is a lying, cheating person.

Since there is no way that Trump can win Illinois, I can vote for Gary Johnson because my vote at the National level does not matter.

Your vote really wont matter by voting for someone that is only running so that he can sign a book deal afterward. Trump is the best choice we have right now, and it is not even close. He has the potential to be a great President.

1988 was the last time a Republican Presidential Candidate won Illinois. Trump has no chance in Illinois

Just like Trump had no chance of winning the primary?

Gary Johnson is pro-abortion. Trump is the closest to pro-life of the remaining candidates.

Cook County is democratic. Trump has zero chance. Illinois will be 60-40 Clinton. One more vote will not change the outcome.

It's extremely unlikely that one more vote will change the outcome in ANY state. Every vote counts.

Illinois is a Democratic state. It would take many democrats to jump to Trump for him to win the state. if Clinton is going to get 60%, my one vote will not change it to a Trump win. You can add the vote totals of Johnson and Trump and still not top clinton.

That's true, but still doesn't mean your vote doesn't count, or doesn't matter. There are no states where your one vote is going to change the decision.
