UNT Notebook 4-19-16 - Side Show Joe - 04-20-2016 10:04 PM By Brett Vito Staff Writer bvito@dentonrc.com Published: 19 April 2016 11:27 PM A lot has changed for the North Texas football program during Seth Littrell’s first spring as head coach. UNT spends a lot more time working on its passing game in practice. Some of the staples of practice during Dan McCarney era, like the circle drill and Oklahoma drill that emphasized one-on-one physical battles, are long gone. But that doesn’t mean the Mean Green won’t be a physical team after moving to a spread offense. Littrell said his teams have been physical at every stop of his career as an offensive assistant. He was quick to emphasize Tuesday that won’t change a bit this fall in his first season at UNT. http://www.dentonrc.com/sports/sports-headlines/20160419-unt-notebook-unt-passing-game-still-looks-to-be-physical.ece |
