Excellent news! Looking at the makeup of the conference, it is a great opportunity to make connections with existing members and to further our women's lacrosse into a more prominent position.

That is fantastic. I just like saying "Liberty has joined the Big East." Something about it makes me feel good even if it is only for one women's sport. I think back to the days of a bigger stronger Big East and imagine us there for all sports.
Hopefully, this great opportunity transfers over into stronger relationships and an invitation into the Big East in all sports. Hey! I can dream can't I? And of course that would lead into an invitation to join the AAC in football and then all sports! Yah, yah. Ya see how this is working? In no time we'll be where we've dreamt of being.
Like I said, I can dream can't I?

2) Are there any other individual sports we can work into the Big East?

1) I had one of the SBC posters (App State Fan) make it for me. I wanted the quote in it because people think the Liberty in our name stands for something other than what it really means. You know "GIVE ME LIBERTY!!"....LOL.
2) Since the Big East does everything but FB we could BUT since we have FBS goals that's not going to happen unless its something else like another minor sport.

I think the only Big South unsponsored sports we could move are swimming and diving and lacrosse. The Big East sponsors them. That would give us a nice little foot in the door.
