Covenant Game Thread - GE and MTS - 11-13-2015 09:34 PM
Our season opener for men's basketball began tonight with Liberty hosting Covenant.
The Positives: We won. We came from behind and showed grit. We didn't blow it down the stretch.
The Negatives: We didn't blow Covenant out of the water. We struggled against a non-Division I program.
Our starting lineup, according to the ESPN box score, consisted of four sophemores and a freshman. Our four bench players that came into the game were all freshmen. We played zero upperclassmen! I don't want to write off a season after one game but this may be a LONG year.

I just cannot bring myself to comment on "Summit" and "Covenant". I hope McKay has some magic. Looks like he will need it.
