I enjoyed hearing it. Matt Murphy and Kyle Whitmire get it.

The talk about why Alabama deserves to pay so much more for a coach than UAB really irritated me.

The basic argument was, "We're Alabama and they are UAB..."

The argument was that Alabama produces more revenue, and I'm okay with that argument. I'm not okay with our trustees being actively involved in the athletics of one campus and they are not helpful at all on another campus. It just so happens that their support is for the campus at which most of them graduated!

Conflict of interest and unethical behavior.

Just because they can pay a coach more doesn't mean that the coach is worth more.

I believe the UATBOT overt involvement in one campus future success and the covert destruction of the other campus is OBVIOUS and its real evidence, evidence that can be used as an exhibit showing the real neglect of UAB athletics as so far as attending UAB athletic events, for an example, UAB basketball goes to the NCAA and win their first game, UATBOT response is to attend the NCAA games and congratulate the UAB team for a job well done, okay you know I am being silly, but the facts are this UATBOT failures to be attentive to UAB' athletics are historical and well documented.
If this UATBOT is ever brought to court, I believe they will be found guilty of neglect of the fiduciary duties.

A trustee should not be involved in the interview process of an athletics coach, pure and simple.
I appreciate Avery Johnson for the simple fact that he disclosed all the people Alabama included in the interview process. He probably didn't know what he did, but it was what we needed. Reform will come one way or another.

+1, and the same principle applies to what is being built/not being built on the campuses...........one gets a $35,000,000 baseball field, $4,000,000 in boat paddle storage, while the other one is denied field turf that was paid for, etc.
