Obviously Team Watts has chosen secrecy over transparency again, but what else is the Faculty Senate alleging? Are they saying UAB was dishonest in their dealing with the 3rd party comments?

At a mimimum, they are saying that Watts is hiding stuff, which is against his promise to be more transparent.

All we heard after the SACS visit was how great UAB was viewed from Linda Lucas with no mention of any 3rd party comments (or anything else, for that matter). Given Watts' track record with honesty I think there is every reason to want to see the actual SACS documents...

If I had to guess, the administration likely painted #freeuab as a bunch of wackos that the university has dismissed. After the Direct Communications link, they don't want us to see what they said about us.

I think the second letter is a lot more scathing than the first. This is really about more than football with Watts. The faculty has never, ever liked him. At least on the "West Side," whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.
