2015-16 non-conference opponents? - Dragonz Lair - 03-09-2015 02:03 PM

In a Scarbinsky article about a week ago UAB was said to have 8 or 9 non-conf basketball games inked for next season...I know we play in the Emerald Coast Classic but who else do we have lined up?

I hope we have some tough, but winnable road games early in the OOC schedule next season. That's been a big problem the last 2 years IMO. Especially this year we are clearly a different team at home vs. on the road. We have to do all we can to mitigate the risk of losing to these super duper WTF teams if we hope to be in play for an at large next year.

Do we have return trips to USF and Illinois St?

Those two games are the type I'm talking about. Kudos so far. We need winnable, resume-building (well, at least not resume-detrimental) wins on the road early in the season. I firmly believe part of the reason we've played like crap on the road the past two years is because of a lack of early road games.
