So, who's in the e-gang? - Smaug - 03-06-2015 12:38 AM

Mods, step on me if this is out of line, but I read GTS' pinned post and wonder what the hell is going on.

I figured asking on this board would be, if not okay, the least objectionable.

My question would be are private messages still being read.

Anyone who doesn't agree with Obama or his water carriers here.

And why threaten responders and not instigators. Ain't a damn thing goes on here that isn't a two way street.

Board libs are a protected class....

Board libs need pantie protection.

I love the fact that some people will do whatever they want and think it's funny, it happens to them, it's not funny and they call for banning.. Then when something not even related to them happens here and they bring up the old stuff. Kinda like how Memphis brings up people doxxing him.. Ok we get it, you were foolish enough not to protect a photobucket account and someone took a look at your photos and made fun of you... Yet whenever he can't win an argument or something doesn't go his way that gets dredged back out with the whole "well if a door is unlocked does that give you the right to enter".. It's very tiresome.. It's going to get to the point, I'll just go hang with my Southern Miss brethren and our C-USA opponents over at the place that pulled me in to begin with.

I love the fact that petulant babies are coddled here.

Been through this on another board and I don't understand why people who get down in the mud and sling poo aren't told to deal with it when they get it in return. Does the board really not see, the more they baby these little *********** the worse they get? Why do they want to spend so much time dealing with their complaints? Ignore them. If they really want civility (yeah, right 01-wingedeagle) they would start acting that way. News flash: they wouldn't start acting that way. They want to tell us peasants how stupid we are and just want a thank you for helping us see our errors in return. But no, this is the second board that has waged an all out offense against the side who gives and takes. Give comes with take. A concept that eludes so many here. Don't know why anyone would champion the asswipes that want to attack others but want to be protected from posts the same as their own.

I just wish that the two sets of rules that obviously exist (one for conservatives and one for the liberals) be admitted to and published for everyone to see.

What's the E-Gang? 03-wink

Why are people like LSU and 36 getting banned? It's ridiculous. I've not personally witnessed any behavior that I deem out of line. Maybe it's occurring in PM harassment? I mean, Fitbud can troll the whole board like he's an incompetent buffoon. I'm told by mods that he's not a buffoon, that he's actually a "master level troll" yet he still gets to post here.

RE: So, who's in the e-gang? - gdunn - 03-06-2015 10:23 AM

Trolling doesn't violate the AUP.

From the AUP:
- You grant CSNbbs indefinite, perpetual, and royalty-free use of any and all content you put on the site including but not limited to posts and messages, private or otherwise.

RE: So, who's in the e-gang? - Redwingtom - 03-06-2015 10:33 AM

And FWIW. I have personally been given a three day time out and have received 4 or 5 separate warnings. Most were 5%, but one was 25%.

I have also been told by mods on more than one occasion to tone things down.

I think it's part of e-trade.

RE: So, who's in the e-gang? - Paul M - 03-06-2015 10:37 AM

Someone not striking from a boilerplate AUP what he CLAIMS to be against is telling. A libertarian would allow no such thing in his world. gd spying is gd spying.

If the need were to arise, law enforcement has power to go through them. A board owner has no reasonable need.

RE: So, who's in the e-gang? - Paul M - 03-06-2015 10:41 AM

And warnings and a short time out do not equal a lifetime ban for a completely, totally, unequivocally non offense.

Does that have anything to do with iShares? 03-wink

It's real funny I laid it out there and it's been overlooked.
