Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - HeartOfDixie - 02-13-2015 10:46 AM ...or lack of it. Fair or not? RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - Machiavelli - 02-13-2015 10:55 AM It's going to help him immensely in the primaries. Birds of a feather dynamic. RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - DaSaintFan - 02-13-2015 10:58 AM Let's see.. That would also include: George Washington Andrew Jackson Martin Van Buren Zachary Taylor Millard Filmore Abraham Lincoln Grover Cleveland William McKinley Harry S. Truman I guess these guys weren't qualified either to be president? RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - ECUGrad07 - 02-13-2015 11:00 AM Haha those who attack folks who don't have college degrees are the same kinds of idiots who would hire 22 year old MBA over a guy with an Associates and 30 years industry experience. RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - NIU007 - 02-13-2015 11:01 AM It's politics. Anything that could be considered a weakness of any kind will be brought up. I wouldn't consider someone not graduating from college as unknowledgeable, but if I was a host of something related to news, I wouldn't act like Scarborough did there either. It sounded like Fox News. If Dean was on Jerry Springer, or some kind of entertainment channel, then I could see it. What I don't understand though is these attacks on Walker this early. It's going to be Jeb Bush imo. Why take out Walker so early? Let him get the nod first but even then. Maybe these attacks from the media will even help out Walker though. Like jujitsu. This is bonafide street cred to the mouth breathers. Maybe they are propping up Walker by attacking him. RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - EagleRockCafe - 02-13-2015 11:06 AM A great man no doubt...... YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - EverRespect - 02-13-2015 11:07 AM Stupid, find another angle. Better yet, go after Bush. It's going to be Jeb Bush imo. Why take out Walker so early? The Dems (and the Republican machine) WANT it to be Bush or Christie, so they have to take out any "serious upsets" early this year. If Cain hadn't dropped out in the last election, as an example, how much of threat would he have been if it had been Cain vs. Romney at the final end, instead of Santorum vs. Romney? Btw... this is how you knew that the Clinton machine either didn't consider Obama a threat in 2008, or they completely misjudged how well HRC would steam roll anyone at the end of the primary cycle. RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - HeartOfDixie - 02-13-2015 11:17 AM I like Walker and his education is unimportant to me. I don't care that he doesn't have a college degree...but didn't he actually drop out of college? If so, that could cause some issues depending on the circumstances that lead to him quitting. Well, if that's it (everything)...no big deal then. RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - QuestionSocratic - 02-13-2015 11:53 AM Does education matter? In the most recent election, the more educated candidate lost. Going forward, I think that Bobby Jindle and Ted Cruz education credentials would clearly trump the field (including Hillary and Elizabeth). I think there is some speculation swirling about what caused him to drop out. He was there for close to four years so the fact he doesn't have the paper to prove it is a little different. Dean's comment about not knowing anything about the world or science is a bit unfair in my opinion. RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - Machiavelli - 02-13-2015 11:57 AM Jindal RE: Howard Dean Attacks Walker's Education - Machiavelli - 02-13-2015 11:59 AM How do you get that close and don't finish. Seriously? Take Night classes or whatever. He's a backslider who made his name by stealing from others to give tax cuts. |
