I saw a program called "Rice Basketball Weekly" in the DirecTV listings for 1/6/15, and a search of this board turns up no info about it. I don't see it mentioned at riceowls.com either. Has anybody seen this program?

Which channel on DTV was it listed? It might be the program tha Comcast was doing for Rice when the Comcast Houston channel was still active. Supposedly the new Root channel wasn't going to have much local programming other than actual games.

It's listed on Root TV (channel 639) at 7 pm Tuesday, the same type of show that Bailiff had for football.

The channel listings on the DirecTV website actually did not give me the channel number--just an option to watch or record--but another web site says it is Channel 674.

It would appear that Root is continuing the Rice and UH coaches show that was on Comcast.

I had noticed this as well and have it scheduled. My guess was that it was root sports, as I think that had the David Bailiff show.

I'll drink just about anything that's not lite, doesn't have things that aren't grains (i.e. fruit, ginger, and the like), but I'm not partial to IPAs. Shiner Bock, Guiness, and the like are good. I've got a 50" plasma and generally charge about 30 oz per hour...
