That the way I enjoyed spending my Saturday afternoons was taken from me by a low life coward using a bunch of lies and deceit.

The fact that I never received 1 phone call or email from the National Alumni Society urging me to voice my concern of the potential of losing football at UAB.
I will never forget…
The lawmakers who stood idly by and did nothing and said nothing. No more letters, resolutions... Do Something!

Those who knew this was going on months ago and said/did absolutely nothing to stop it.
I will never forget…
The media who stood with us… and will never forget those who refused to say something when they had the platform to do so.

I think you may underestimate what legislators have done and are doing on our behalf. You don;t get the Alabama constitution changed overnight. We may have lost this major battle, but the war to #FreeUAB can still be won.

I will never forget the Blazer Women, athletic and spirit teams, who stood and fought for their university with unbridled ferocity while UAB's most visible men's team and their coaches . . . were nowhere to be found.

+1 the Men's teams lack of solidarity with the Women's teams statement is something I'll never understand.

I am sorry you have to go through this ordeal. I hope you can stay in CUSA because ODU used to have a good rivalry with you in basketball in the days we were both in the Sun Belt.
When you shut down blazernation, did you shut down the pickem contests as well. If so, I am very disappointed as it was lots of fun and I was doing well.

Going to my first away game at UGA and screaming my head off
screaming my head off at Callaway because he kept putting the kicker in (it wasn't the kicker's fault)
The first win against USM and Joe Webb running out of his shoes
Or taking my sons to their first football game at legion Field and their last UAB game at USM
