Starting to love this hire, took credit for the loss and definitely seem to have learn something. Very different from the last two regimes. Also with three different HC's in four years its hard on player progression. I've always thought how he handles injuries with be the key from separation from the last two.

One little thing I would do in year one is play some as athletes that like the middle to end of my 85 in terms of talent, production, and experience I think its a necessity dealing with injuries. If you're not playing much on O try defense by week 10 and the same for defense to have a good number of bodies for the end of the season. Also I know certain guys have a certain number of reps game and practice. Like Adams back to CB, Crumbley back to OL, or Roberson back to LB.

I thought this would be the game we would switch to a true 4-3 front. Was looking forward to Crumbley finally seeing some PT. The speed we had on the field actually looked slow in the first half. Mainly because our LBs would step up into a hole and that was basically the end of the play for them. They would get blocked, and then they would disappear. Like a mouse running into the mouth of an alligator. Not sure if it would have made a huge difference because the 3-4 front didn't completely fail. Arkansas did handled it well though. Maybe the 4-3 could have taken a yard off of there run average. Also agree with the comment about press coverage. To start the game on O, I didn't really feel we had a game plan to win the game. More of a trial and error thing to get ready for the rest of our schedule.
