This is what he says wasn't a hold. OL grabs Reed's jersey on the shoulder and pulls him out of the way. That's holding by any stretch of the imagination. Announcers called it right away. He then goes on to say that he would have scored anyway when it's clear Reed was in perfect position to make the tackle. He also forgets to mention the bounce pass that led to a UNT TD late in the game.

I will say this, Monken inherited a mess and he has had endure a lot of losses, but he has never whined like that. Now USM fans have whined about officials, but never our head coach. Of that I am proud.

The block was fine to begin with but at the end the UNT player did hold. I am not sure that the UNT player had to do that and think they receiver might have scored anyway. Too many what if's for an official to let it go and was the right call IMO.

That is a hold all day long…Damn, he had both his hands on the outside of the USM defenders shoulders and you can visibly see the jersey being pulled first on the USM defenders left shoulder and then on his right shoulder….I am not sure why there is any debate on this call. It is ok to have a hold of the defender's jersey as long as you keep you hands inside and on the chest area but anytime you are grabbing the jersey on the outside of the pads you are begging to be called for holding.

Give the guy a break. He only has one working eye and that one is less than 100%. For the record, that holding call was a good call.

Im in shock holding was called in a cusa game. One of the old crews had 2 guys i knew from hattiesburg. One told me they were actually asked not to call it between the 30's

It is the total opposite in the AAC this year…Those officials are way too involved in the game, makes it almost unbearable to watch an AAC game, seems like they throw a flag every other play. They have that 8th official this year and they are calling tons of holding and hands to the face.
