I see some folks wanna talk a lot of BS about "gettin over" the screwing we got by being pushed down to the Peach Bowl. Hey , why not bring your gripe and whine to me. I just love to chew up and spit out whiners.

Well, not going to argue but it happens every year to someone

UGA in 2001
Ark in 2002
UT in 2003

Do I need to remind anyone that Ole Miss went 7-4 in 2001, which included a win over Alabama? That same season, Bama with a worse record at 6-5 and a loss to the Rebs, were invited to a bowl game instead of Ole Miss. We sat at home that year, so I have no pity for anyone who feels slighted in the bowl season.

I agree that UT may have gotten a little raw deal, but that pales in comparison to the screw job that the Trojans of USC received, and maybe even the Texas Longhorns.

I work in Nashville with tons of Vols fans and all of them have expressed their disgust in the matter, which is fair enough, I would too. However, that is no reason to not go to the bowl game and support your team, I would be there regardless. My cohorts are not going because they feel like they are too good to go to the little ole Peach Bowl, especially two years in a row. What a pathetic reason to not go and see your team. It's not the players' fault.
My response to them when they tell me that they're not going to pitiful Atlanta for the second year in a row? "Well, maybe if you could actually win the Peach Bowl, then you might deserve a shot at another bowl".LOL

and, if they could actually SELL their tickets to the Peach Bowl, a larger bowl might feel justified in giving them the $$

I almost started looking for an apartment last year in Shreveport to use as a crash-pad for the Independence Bowl each December. The hotel clerks in Shreveport all know me by name now. LOL!!!

Atlanta, while not the greatest city, would've sure been a nice change of pace over the last few seasons.

NEWSFLASH.......We sold all our tickets to the Peach Bowl this year! DUHHH! I think like ALL the other SEC teams who have been SCREWED over the years, the Vols have a hellofalot to prove this time around.

Hey guys, don't get me wrong here....I am glad we are going bowling. My complaint is the BCS or BS morons f'd up big time.

Another thing this pi$$es me off is the other boards are making it sound as though we don't want to go to the Peach. That is a crock of bull. Sure after we got bumped down there was a while there we were mad as hell , as anyone would be...but now after the shock has worn off...we need to take our frustrations out on Klemson.

GO VOLS!

Well, we can't whine about getting screwed now, since we got whipped in ATL.

Oh well...
