Not happening. If the Big 12 has to expand, I believe we take 1 of the Florida twins and ECU. Cincy, coog high and smu are non-starters and bring absolutely 0 to the table.

Houston and Dallas are owned by the Big 12. Cincy is owned by the Big 10. The only markets worth stealing from is the acc and Big 12 TV partners decided louisville wasn't worth the trouble.

Dude, Louisville always wanted ACC membership, the Big 12 would have been better than the American that is why we considered it. We would never join the Big 12 now, never! 07-coffee3

Dude Louisville always wanted ACC membership, the Big a2 would have been better than the American that is why we considered it. We would never join the Big 12 now, never!b 07-coffee3

I'm sorry but Louisville didn't have a choice once we added West Virginia. Once we added WVU, our TV partners opted for TCU because they could join right away. The Big 12 wouldn't wait on Louisville.

I really wasn't in the mood to have to wear Cowboy Boots and Hats and have to take up Chewing T'baca anyway. Now I need Swimming trunks, Shades , Sandals and a Cold Beer. Thanks ACC!

CardFan1, that's got to be some of the silliest reasoning I've ever heard. I usually wear shorts, shades, and sandals, and I've never chewed any tobacco. Next time try to think up something worth posting.

Just messing with Techie! Lol!

A little sensitive, are we? 07-coffee3

Just tired of stupid potshots by all parties, which is why I hardly post any longer. 03-banghead

I doubt Louisville would ever ditch the ACC for the Big 12 but they should never say never. I would love to have the Cards in the conference though. WVU, UL and UC should have all been brought in together.

Unfortunately, the schools had no choice in the matter.

No need to bash the Big XII...Of the P5 leagues the ACC for us is by far the best situation...a Basketball league with a very strong Florida presence for Football. Also we already have established rivalries with Pitt and Syracuse...04-cheers

I think that not adding BYU will back fire for Big XII. If they aren't playing for National Championships in the next four years, then you will know why. No conference title game. Oklahoma and Texas run the conference.

Thinking is a dangerous habit. You should avoid it at all costs. It only leads you into trouble.

Just adding BYU will not help the Big 12 much. We will need to add at least 2. Right now, the powers that be don't see the 2 they want available. If you think that they will hold a playoff and ignore the conference that houses UT and OU (regardless of how many other teams are in the conference) then you would be mistaken, IMO.

I think the B12 should become the Big 14:

BYU
Cincinnati
Central Florida
South Florida

Forget it, Wilkie. Not happening.

That seems to make the most sense, if BYU is a nonstarter substitute Memphis. The thing is reasoning seems to have left the building when it comes to all things expansion, therefore I agree with bit cruncher it ain't happening. Btw, FIFY lol.
