One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - WPDAWG08 - 04-15-2014 06:52 PM An IED device that can cause mass carnage and is in no way protected by the constitution. Yeah lets ignore the true threat and go after big bad "100 round drum clips" and scary looking semi auto weapons Lets face it you cant hunt with a pressure cooker, you cant uphold the constitution with a pressure cooker, you cant hardly protect your family with a pressure cooker. All they are good for is cooking grandmas old stinky meat and potatoes recipe. I say we start with a registry and go from there. Sorry for the rant but this issue gets my goat.

Not true it such a small minority that mean to do harm with these devices. There would not be a high enough demand to create a black market iirc. RE: One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - smn1256 - 04-15-2014 07:04 PM There is no need for a high capacity pressure cooker. RE: One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - WPDAWG08 - 04-15-2014 07:32 PM I understand it is easy to make light of this smn but I suggest you watch the footage of the boston bombings again and get back to me. RE: One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - HeartOfDixie - 04-15-2014 07:33 PM I don't have a pressure cooker; I'm defenseless. I really wasn't sure where your post was going. As soon as you mentioned a registry I felt you were merely being sarcastic. RE: One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - WPDAWG08 - 04-15-2014 07:37 PM Heartofdixie this is not a parallel to the gun debate this is like saying we are going to legalize grenade ownership. Yeah I could see where you could think that. I am just saying something needs to be done I mean technically you could cook with a flame thrower but does that make it a good idea to have one as a household item? RE: One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - oklalittledixie - 04-15-2014 07:42 PM Hands off my crock pot, boy. It's been there for me through many meals. RE: One year later and still no common sense pressure cooker reform?? - HeartOfDixie - 04-15-2014 07:42 PM I don't know anything about pressure cookers. I've always assumed they were about as harmless as a crock pot. They found chicken half a mile away on a golf course. True story.
