The state of Kentucky officially recognizes gay marriages, will start growing hemp, and has a number of measures to legalize medical marijuana.

It's not Kentucky forcing gay marriage and all states have a "number of measures" to legalize medical marijuana.

Let's be clear that it is our own federal govt forcing a liberal agenda, libertarians - Not that states are becoming more liberal.

but for some reason the libertarians just aren't all that upset about it..

That doesn't shock me one bit.

Some states just insist to live in the past.

Zealot social conservationism died off when Adam and Eve first rejected it.

The new zealots- those that respect the institution of marriage and don't think excusing stoned people by pointing to drunks is much of an argument.

This isn't going to end well.

California will always be different. It's one extreme and Mississippi or Texas or Florida is the other extreme.

Our people will be better served somewhere in the middle.

Enough people will get sick of it and a revolution will be on hand. Didn't Lincoln say something along the lines of "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." and "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."

Both fit obama's failure and his grand scheme.

The state of Kentucky officially recognizes gay marriages, will start growing hemp, and has a number of measures to legalize medical marijuana.

Kentucky voters and law makers are primarily against gay marriage.

Florida isn't much different than California, other than better breatheable air and nicer beaches... And they aren't bankrupt yet.

I know it was a activist judge appointed by Mitch Mcconnel that made the ruling. Still not sure why so many are on a crusade to deny people civil rights. Sure it is gross but who am I to say what other people do with themselves. And I thought separation of church and state was a done deal..

Funny you should mention that. If it wasn't for the government forcing them to do it, we may still have those injustices.

We should let California be as liberal as they want and Texas be as conservative as they want and leave each other alone. It is fun debating here and all, but our system of government was not set up for me to be arguing with someone in Memphis over laws on homosexuality in Kentucky. The federal government has grown way too large.
