I wouldn’t put it past this ruthless, power-hungry hack.
Those Democrats who crossed Bill and Hillary Clinton in 2008 must answer for their sins. And the Clinton camp has been keeping a tally.
That’s at least according to a new book by The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Politico’s Jonathan Martin. They’ve co-authored a book together on Hillary Clinton called “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton.” And a story cross-published on the websites of both The Hill and Politico has an interesting angle and title: “Hillary’s Hit List.”
After Hillary had officially dropped out of the race in 2008, her campaign still had some work to do — work that involved keeping a detailed record of who had supported, and turned on, the Clintons.
“As one of the last orders of business for a losing campaign, they recorded in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet the names and deeds of members of Congress,” the excerpt notes. “They carefully noted who had endorsed Hillary, who backed Barack Obama, and who stayed on the sidelines—standard operating procedure for any high-end political organization. But the data went into much more nuanced detail.”

An MSNBC panel convened on Monday to discuss the hours-old revelations surrounding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s maintaining a graded list of Democrats she believed did not support her 2008 presidential bid to her satisfaction. Most of the panel agreed that this is not a damaging revelation because it would not be unique to Clinton’s campaign, but one guest said that the “gendered” elements of the coverage of this scandal disturbed her and indicates that “we just don’t know how to deal with gender.”
“This doesn’t surprise me in the least,” said Democratic strategist and columnist Zerlina Maxwell of Clinton’s “hit list.” “This is very much a routine political exercise that any campaign, you know, that has due diligence would do.

If America elects this woman as POTUS?...It deserves what it gets. Personally?...I don't believe for a second she will even win her own gang nomination. She has a track record of failure. Nothing leads me to believe she suddenly will succeed in making people like her. Any decent alternative will beat her ass ragged. She is a shrill...mean spirited shewolf. There is nothing about her that shouts femininity or softness. Her true self comes out every time she is challenged. It will happen again. Mark it down.

How cool. Where or how do you "study politics for a living"?
If that's actually the case, does someone also pay you to do that? Or is this simply assoncouch and observing while collecting a check? If its the former, and you're getting paid for what you do here, then sign me the eff up. I oughta be a thousandaire in weeks.

Why is this a surprise? I would assume that most everyone in politics has such a list. You have to have allies you can trust.

Looking ahead to a possible Clinton Presidency, the people with the most to fear are not Republicans but Democrats who undermined her in 2007-2008 by supporting Obama or Edwards. They will have about as much influence as a domestic slave in Saudi Arabia.

Really? Who are they going to put against her in the primary process? There's nobody who wants (to my knowledge) to run, as Harry Reid likes the power he wields from the Senate floor, and even as the minority leader, Pelosi has no interest.
Who in the Democratic party is going to step up and go after her? Usually it's the keynote speaker from the previous convention as the first choice, but I don't see anyway the Dems are going to put Julian Castro up for the nomination, not when the most hes' done is San Antonio's mayor.

Cuomo comes to mind. Warren perhaps. Who saw a junior senator with a solid record of voting "present", formerly a "community organizer" (whatever the hell that is) this far out?
I recall the coronation of Hillary pretty clearly last time as well, until it didn't happen.

Democrats atop a political “hit list” of politicians who betrayed Hillary Clinton in 2008 are trying to get back in her good graces as she weighs a 2016 comeback.
Clinton campaign aides kept a detailed list of lawmakers who supported Barack Obama in the Democratic primary, according to excerpts from the forthcoming book HRC: States Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton, by The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Politico’s Jonathan Allen. The book says aides ranked them according to the gravity of their perceived betrayal, with several prominent Democrats — including Secretary of State John Kerry, then a Massachusetts senator — earning the blackest of black marks.
The new revelation set off a flurry of praise for Clinton, also a secretary of State, from the damned on Monday.
“Secretary Kerry and former Secretary Clinton share a long friendship,” Kerry spokesman Alec Gerlach told The Hill in an email. “Secretary Clinton’s advice and guidance were both generous and insightful as he transitioned into his role as Secretary of State, and they’ve continued to partner together, most recently at Georgetown University promoting the rights of Afghan women, an effort started by Secretary Clinton and supported by Secretary Kerry.”
The 2004 Democratic presidential nominee endorsed Obama, then an Illinois senator, during a campaign rally in South Carolina at a crucial point during the primaries. Kerry’s declaration that Obama was the right candidate to “turn a new page in American politics” was seen as a jab not only at former President George W. Bush but also former President Clinton, who campaigned hard for Kerry during the 2004 election even as he was recovering from heart surgery.
Rep. Rob Andrews (D-N.J.), another traitor in the Clinton campaign’s world, dismissed the “hit list” story as an attempt to undermine a future Clinton 2016 bid. A superdelegate in 2008, Andrews called on Democrats to unite behind Obama even while remaining nominally in the tank for the former first lady.
